I have been having a lot of fun slowly making my way through this author's backlist. I even have a few used titles of her in my cart on Amazon to order. Quicksand was a nice book with two mature leads who have two teenagers. The hero decides to move back to his hometown with his teenage daughter who is acting up. I liked how this book depicted the struggles with puberty especially with girls wanting to act more mature than they are and how sometimes that can have horrible consequences. That is something our heroine knows very well so she as a teacher does her level best to make sure that she is there for her students. The hero's presence in her life kind of wakes her from the slumber she has been for close to two decades. The romance was really nice and honestly I enjoyed this one.

4 1/2 Stars! ~ I read a book by Ms Greene a few years ago and promised myself to read more. So finally I've remembered my promise! Both our hero and heroine are in their mid-thirties and raising a teenager as a single parent. Cooper returns to his hometown bringing his troubled daughter with him. Living next door is Priss a woman he remembers as a free spirit from highschool, and her son, Matt. The story revolves around the issue of date rape and vulnerability. Coop is definite hero material. Not only is he sexy and outrageous, but he has a sensitivity to understand more than what's presented. Priss is a heroine with a very big and painful secret that has scarred her more than she ever realized. Coop brings out that free spirit that she used to have. This is a heart warming love story with a very satisfying HEA
