This is really a well-written and intriguing ménage story that has romance, mystery, suspense, sex, love, with a bit of paranormal.

Sexy twin brothers with a psychic connection, who need to share the woman in their lives, fall in love with a beautiful, sensitive, caring supermodel that is being stalked by a dangerous and deranged fan.

Whilst the idea of three people actually being in a relationship together is a bit out there for some, the author manages to make it believable and real. The three main characters are likeable and engaging.

There are quite a few sex scenes are erotic, sensual, steamy and hot - but never smutty.

Pity it was such a short book...would have loved more and more pages!!!!

This was the first book I read by this author and I am definitely going to read her other books.

4.5 out of 5 stars.

In the mood for a really hot, I-think-they-just-might-make-this-work menage story? Then try "Their One and Only"--I couldn't put this one down-- verrry hot, and somewhat suspenseful too.

Kaycee's a supermodel who's getting a little bored with the modeling business. Although she's worked hard to achieve success and has met a lot of her career goals, her heart's not really in it any more. She became a model almost by accident, when she was 'discovered' at a coffee shop near her college campus. And though she's set financially, she's not really sure what path to take for the rest of her life. Well, that all changes one evening after a photo shoot when she's kidnapped by a serial killer.

Sam and Tyler Warren are identical twins who share a psychic gift. Ever since they were twelve years old they've been helping the F.B.I. by using their psychic abilities to help find missing persons. Now working as profilers for the F.B.I., they're on the case helping to find Kaycee since she was reported missing. A scarf was found at the scene where she was abducted, and by using their unusual mental abilities and by touching Kaycee's scarf they are able to determine that she's still alive, but struggling to break free from her captor. She eventually gets away, bravely fleeing and is eventually spotted by a policeman and is taken to a hospital. Although shaken from her ordeal, she is surprised by the attraction she feels for the gorgeous man sitting by her hospital bed. And oh my, another one just like him is standing in the doorway...

Well, the F.B.I. figures that Kaycee's life is in danger, and they leave it up to super twins Sam and Tyler to protect her until they can crack the case. Sam and Tyler bring Kaycee to their secluded Texas ranch to hide out. Sam and Tyler have been looking a long time for a woman to love who can love them back equally, but haven't had much luck. All the women eventually leave, knowing that they can't live the lifestyle of one woman with two men. Something tells Tyler that Kaycee may be the woman that could fulfill their dreams, but Sam's a bit reluctant to try again. He doesn't know if he can face the heartbreak of another woman leaving them. Since they both can feel that Kaycee's attracted to them, they decide to give it a shot to see where it may lead. But there will be no seduction involved--they want Kaycee to come to them willingly.

And boy does she ever! The twins are irresistable--Sam is a dominant alpha type, while Tyler is more charming and easy-going. Each is a skilled, passionate lover--but together they are out of this world. It's not long before Kaycee's thinking that maybe she's capable of this whole menage thing, but then she starts to wonder if it's just overwhelming lust, or is it really turning into love? And how much are her feelings being influenced by the extreme situation that she's in? Will her feelings for the brothers change once the serial killer is found and she gets her life back?

This was an easy, quick read, and boy was it a hot one! Although the sex scenes were very hot, there weren't so many of them that you felt like that's all the book was about. And boy oh boy, Sam and Tyler were every woman's dream--a little dominant, a lot protective, easy on the eye, and nice guys, too. I never felt like they were pushing Kaycee into doing something she didn't want--they always wanted Kaycee to be sure before they did anything. And Kaycee wasn't a doormat either--she had a good career and she thought long and hard about where she thought the relationship was heading, and whether she could give up her career and live a menage lifestyle in a small town.

There was only one thing that bothered me. When they finally pinpointed who the serial killer was and that he was obsessed with Kaycee and was spotted in town, why didn't the F.B.I. provide some protection (other than the twins) to Kaycee? And since Kaycee and the twins were each millionaires, why didn't they hire their own protection, instead of relying on the ranch hands as protection?. That made no sense to me. A minor quibble, but everything was mostly believable to me up to that point, and that bugged me a little.

Overall, this was probably one of the most believable menage-type stories that I ever read. Usually I feel that "yeah, that was a hot read, but no way would that work in real life". But this book had me thinking that yeah, this threesome may just be able to pull it off. If you like an erotic read with two sexy alpha guys, a pretty brave heroine and a nice suspenseful plot, "Their One and Only" may be the book for you!
*warning: this book has explicit language, some violence, explicit sex including anal and oral, and m/f/m relationship--not for the faint of heart.

4 ½ stars - Romantic Suspense/Erotica/Menage

Their One and Only is a smoking hot ménage story with heart that succeeds in convincing the reader that the threesome relationship could actually work. With two seriously sexy alpha guys, a feisty heroine, and an intriguing and suspenseful plot, what’s not to like? And although there are several erotic and explicit scenes, I didn’t feel that the author was overtly excessive or gratuitous, just for the sake of trying to push the envelope so to speak. A very steamy and satisfying ménage read.

3.5 stars, rounded up! Trista Ann Michaels' "Their One and Only" is a combination of erotica, mystery, and action with a smattering of the paranormal. The heroine is certainly a damsel in distress and the heroes are hunky FBI types. All three characters have been hurt in the game of love before and are therefore a little wary about opening their hearts. I like that Michaels didn't ignore the mystery and action for the sex. It's all there and it all plays a part in the story.

Kaycee is a supermodel who's just about ready to jump off the merry-go-round that is her career. She's salted away enough cash, invested it well, and is tired of the constant lifestyle restrictions necessary to be a top model. Yet it's not until she's kidnapped and almost killed that Kaycee understands what's really important in her life..and what she'll have to accept to get it.

Sam and Tyler are profilers for the FBI who use their unique twin psychic connection to help solve crimes. When they're called in on Kaycee's case, they realize she's the ultimate target of a serial killer who's been operating for a while now...snatching women who resemble her until he can get a shot at Kaycee. When they use their special senses to connect to Kaycee, Tyler quickly succumbs to her strength and beauty. So he convinces Sam to bring her to their ranch to protect her--and hopefully give her a chance to come to love BOTH of them. Because being identical twins with their kind of connection requires a special kind of woman...one who can accept them both.

I enjoyed the majority of the book and even thought the plot was pretty well done for one so well-used. My only big beef was the killer and how incredible I found it that Kaycee hadn't caught on to him before. Also how he was so agile in evading detection and managed to get to her under the brothers' care. But if you can overlook these things, you'll probably enjoy "Their One and Only". And for those who dislike menage books with anal sex, there's none of that here. So you can enjoy your guilty pleasures!

Naughty books are occasionally a guilty pleasure for me. Their One and Only had been sitting on my Amazon wish list for quite a while and the other night I finally gave in and bought it.

Overall I was a bit disappointed and my biggest let down was the characters. First, the heroine was mapped out a bit weak for my taste. Both in personality and description. She didn't hem and haw too much over having two brothers being her "husbands" and what that might mean to her life. And the sex scenes didn't quite make up for her lack of character to me. The heros Sam and Tyler though they were painted out as hot and protective alpha males they didn't quite meet the mark for me either. They were identical twins that despite the very minor personality quirks that separated them as individuals, to me they mine as well have been one man with 4 hands and 2 penises (was that the whole idea and I missed it?). I guess you could look at it as a twofer, but I couldn't warm up to the idea of the two of them being so alike. I am a huge fan of the alpha male, but having TWO of the same guy telling me what to do does not sound like fun to me.

The things I did like about Their One and Only that landed 3 stars from me was the suspense plot. I thought the author did a great job of fleshing out the story. The suspense was really great, a lot of emphasis on the "who done it" kept me reading.

I guess my main disappointment was I definitely did not buy this book for the suspense but I liked it enough to buy Trista Ann Michael's work again.

Loved this suspense m/f/m read. This one has two brothers that has some psychic abilities, they also have an connection between each other that requires them to share the same woman. This is another of my favorite m/f/m reads along with my family.

I loved Sam and Tyler they are caring and sweet. When they find Kaycee in the hospital in TN. They bring her into their home to help her heal and in hope what they all feel will grow in to love between them. Both Sam and Tyler are upfront and truthful with Kaycee in what they expect in a relationship. They have a dog and cat that make an appearance in the book is really cute. You get a great suspense storyline where someone is killing women and is after Kaycee, you also get great steamy sex between them. Its well written this is an erotic not to be missed if you want a good romance story.

It follows the general menage pattern. Heroine who has a dangerous stalker and hunky ranch owning millionaire heroes. These guys are especially awesome since they are also FBI agents AND identical twins who have some type of ESP powers.

The writing is pretty decent and the sex scenes are definitely hot, but its almost too average in its genre. The only saving grace is the superior writing to what I have recently been reading. Still, it was an entertaining read and I really did like the twins, Sam and Tyler. I wish they had more varying personalities so it is easier to tell them apart. But I guess they are "one soul" and must love only one woman together and all that jazz. The characters are nicely developed and that did add to the story.

Umm...this was HOT! And the relationship between Sam and Kaycee and Tyler was really sweet. I loved their story and there was some good romance on top of all the sex. Unfortunately this has to be the worst edited book I have ever read!! Or should I say non-edited because there were so many punctuation errors and typos that could have easily been fixed with a single proof read. If you can get past that, it's a good story.

I really liked this book, but would have given it a higher rateing if it was a full length book. I thought the story line with the serial killer was good and believable. I liked the 3 main characters, Kaycee, Sam and Tyler. I thought the sex was as HOT as it could possibly be. I would definitely pick another of Trista Ann Michaels books up to read.

For an erotic romance that was on the short end of the scale, this was a fairly satisfying read. It's got a little bit of everything: romance, sex, suspense. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Series Note:
No series connections that I know of.

Summary:
Kaycee Alcott is a supermodel who has attracted the attention of a stalker - a stalker who has taken to kidnapping, torturing and killing women who look like her. When he finally steps up his game and kidnaps Kaycee, she's lucky to escape relatively unharmed.

Coming to her aid are FBI agents Sam and Tyler Warren - twin brothers with special psychic abilities. The two share a special connection, when one falls in love, so does the other, but they've yet to find a woman who could love both of them. Until Kaycee. They sense she's the one they've been waiting for. But will she accept what they want? And can they keep her safe until her stalker is caught?

Review:
I picked this book to read because it was a Menage HEA, and as we all know, I LOVE Menage HEA stories. This one definitely satisfied that requirement.

The story is rather short and to the point, but I didn't mind all that much. I liked the characters of the story. Tyler is the more happy-go-lucky twin, Sam is more the brooder, and Lexie is a model who doesn't fit the stereotype. They were all rather likable. The book falls into that category where the heroes meet the heroine and are pretty much instantly in love - that whole instant connection thing. That doesn't always work for me, but it did here. There's good chemistry between these three. I liked the differences between the brothers as well. They're twins but personality wise you could easily tell them apart. And there's nice romantic conflict over the whole Menage thing...whether Kaycee would stay, whether she could love both and all that. It was a romance that worked for me all around. And yeah, there's hot sex too ;)

I did wish there was maybe some more character development. There was enough to make the story work, but at times I wished I knew more about their pasts, who they were, etc. It didn't need to be a lot, but just some more to fill in the wholes.

Suspense-wise, it was a decent plot. Fairly typical, though. The whole stalker/serial killer thing is fairly common and there wasn't anything to make it unique in this story. But since it added meat to what could have been a repetitive, one dimensional sex story, I liked it. It wasn't perfect. There were some holes in the story and some lack of development, but nothing that ruined the story. It was mostly just that you could notice that the author was perhaps not used to writing a solid suspense because some things were off. But still, it was a good addition to the story.

All around enjoyable for me. I'm glad I decided to read it. It was a quick, sexy read.

WARNING, this book contains: explicit sex and language, oral sex, anal sex, m/f/m hetero Menage HEA (involving twin brothers), a little dominance, some toys, but nothing too over the top.

You have to suspend disbelief when you read this story. It's a menage story, but the menage actually works here because the two men are identical twins who are psychically linked with each other. They consider themselves one soul in two bodies. The disbelief comes not from the strong psychic connection they share, but the fact they are just so perfect. They're incredibly handsome FBI profilers who are cowboy millionaires with rock hard bodies and massive equipment. The woman is a Sports Illustrated model with stunning looks and milllions in the bank. Of course she would be. She wouldn't be an ordinary woman with average looks and a small bank account.

There's insta-love. I think they all fell in love in less than two weeks. The heroine never questions in any great detail why the two men need one wife. She isn't a TSTL heroine, but she doesn't have much depth either. She does have scorching sex with the two men individually and together. No m/m here though.

There's a rape scene involving the villain. The scene is not all that lengthy, but it is somewhat graphic and it comes right after a big sex scene between heroine and heroes. It was such an odd transition. That scene and typos ("less people" instead of "fewer people") indicated to me the book could have used an editor. Why do these books involve scenes where the man goes as deep as the woman's cervix or womb? In what universe would that feel good? I lost track of the number of times the heroine licked or nibbled on her lower lip or how often her nipples hardened through her shirt. I must hang out with unusual women because none of them do these things.

It was ok. Didn't really believe in their "insta-love". The Heroes were really crude and dominant in the "bedroom", totally clashing with their characters. And Heroine wasn't at all affected by her kidnapping, torture and the death/killing of the other woman who was in captivity with her. A few days later, all she can think about is her insane attraction to both Heroes and sexy times.
So yeah, 2 stars.

What do you get when you mix 50% sex, 40% plot and character development, and 10% sadistic sexual torture? A fairly fucked up book.

I'm torn because, on the one hand, I, mostly, enjoyed the book and found it immensely readable. The characters were likable enough, the sex was solid if not spectacular, and the premise —two twins with one soul—was intriguing. I read it in a day, and didn't want to put it down. However, this book had massive flaws throughout and the ending was pretty damn illogical and, therefore, irritating.

First, what genre was this book trying to be? Our heroes are FBI profilers, ahem psychic FBI profilers, which one would think would be a full time job, but are also full time ranchers with an extremely profitable business. Cowboy FBI Agents you say? Trying to get it both ways, I say.
Second, I found it so strange that this book interspersed sex/ romance scenes with scenes of fairly graphic sexual torture. Dude, way to kill and then bludgeon the mood. In one scene our heroes and heroine are joking about all the sex they are having and how it is going to kill her *ha*. This scene is immediately followed to a switch to the killer's POV where he is lubing up with his victim's blood while she begs him just to kill her. WTF!? Who thought this was a good transition? There are a lot of scenes like that, and, because of the harsh transitions, they killed the story. Intestines should not be a featured part of a romance/ erotic story, just sayin'.
Third, Sam and Tyler had potential but could have been so much better. Who doesn't like hot, alpha males, but these two really blended together. Kaycee kept saying that they were so different, but I never saw them behaving in consistently different ways.
Fourth, the characters sometimes acted counter to all known logic. You know a serial killer is obsessed with Kaycee and has murdered and tortured a number of women. Kaycee herself has been kidnapped and undergone psychological trauma. These facts should really guide your actions. But, no, Kaycee seems fairly fancy free throughout the story, and the boys sure seem to be getting back to running that ranch despite the fact that they are on protection duty. I don't know, it just didn't ring true to me.
Still, I found many of these flaws unintentionally hilarious and wasn't exactly looking for complex when I picked up this book so all would have been, somewhat, forgiven if not for that ridiculous ending.
Enter massive plot holes, completely out of character behaviour, and unrealistic outcomes. Also, fuck, communicate people, it cures a lot of problems!!

This book would have gotten a three star rating because it was fun if shallow, but the ending pissed me off, which, in turn, made me madder about the other problems in this book I had fairly happily overlooked.

This was one of the hottest books I have ever read, and considering the amount of romance novels I read, that is saying A LOT! The passion and heat definitely got to me and I couldn't stop reading it.

I have read about threesomes before, but I think this one was one of the best, if not THE best I have ever read. Two friends sharing a woman just because is kind of unnatural and two brothers sharing a woman can sound weird. However, using the psychic link makes the story sound a lot more convincing. I have found it weird when the woman loves two men at the same time, even when they look very different. Here, the men are identical and are two parts of the same soul. The way they slowly prepared her to take a cock in her ass was really good. I didn't like how they kept giving her space and being scared of the relationship. If the story is going to emphasize that much about the women who have rejected them because they do not want a permanent threesome, add some more details about failed relationships. Have a character not one of the main cast talk about it or something. Maybe have an ex lover show up. This was the first time I have read about a woman who just had sex with one guy immediately right after get off his cock and have another one enter her. She has sex with Sam alone first in a bed right after she has a nightmare, then Tyler alone on a horse stall wall, Sam and Tyler together for the first time in their home theater, Tyler alone in bed right after he pushes a butt plug into her (I find it interesting that she kept a butt plug in her for a whole day(s?)), Sam and Tyler together on the couch with this being the first time a cock gets into her ass literally, and Sam alone in the shower.

The thing is, if the guy was killing her look alikes for a long time now, how come the FBI didn't already try to coordinate with her and set up as bait or something. Why didn't she have a bodyguard? It is these obvious questions that annoy me. Also, the twins could have used something that belonged to the killer and connected with him... They could have even used the stuff they found in the cave...

Although the plot has a few holes, the chemistry alone is enough for me to recommend this to others.

I'm a huge fan of Menage stories where there is equality in the romance - no jealousy, no preference for one over the other - and this is one of those stories. The romance aspect here is great...even if we do start out liking Tyler just a bit more than Sam. The sex is very steamy, although at times it sounds quite painful. What with them battering against her cervix and all that...

The suspense part of this story requires a bit of suspension of belief. How does this woman who was kidnapped and nearly killed, end up in the protective custody of two part-time FBI profilers??? Not very realistic... And their complete lack of security measures - the house has security, but there aren't any security checks, she's allowed free rein of the house at all times and half the time either the heroine or the heroes are forgetting that anybody is after her (what with all that sex distracting them...)

This book started out okay, but I started losing interest halfway through. The sex scenes were pretty hot at first, but they got old quickly. The writing style is very similar to a Lora Leigh novel, IMO, and I think that took some of the reading pleasure away. I like Lora Leigh, but I have to be in a certain mood to read her stuff.

I thought the idea of the twins falling in love with the same woman a bit ridiculous. If one fell in love, the other one automatically fell in love. That takes away their choice and it seems fate dictates what happens. Apparently, they were sharing one soul or something like that. That aside, I felt there was a lack of character development with all involved. I thought the author was telling us instead of showing us that the Kaycee, Sam and Tyler were in love. The ending was anti-climatic and not in the least suspenseful. I didn’t think this was very good.

I did find it hard to believe that Kaycee would recover so fast from her kidnapping and finding out just how interested Tyler and Sam were in her and to their physic gift. If you just go with those parts of the story, it is very enjoyable and has some great sex scenes.

What I really liked about this book was that both men took the time to explain to Kaycee just what they wanted in a relationship with her. They didn't just explain it before the sex happened, but after too and explained that she was the one that was in the driver's seat and they would let her lead. I also liked that Kaycee really gave it thought and what it would mean to be with both of them.

The mystery part of the book was slightly boring and anti-climatic. I did like the antics of the pets, they had my laughing.

Hot, well written Menage

The characters are oh so yummy. The twins, Tyler and Sam need their one and only and they seem to find her in trouble, and their psychic abilities help them rescue Kaycee from a obsessed killer.

After the rescue they take her to their home to protect her and she discovers a new found passion in these two hot ranchers/FBI men. The characters are strong each in their own way and complete a whole. I have really enjoyed reading Ms Michaels books, and of course will read more!

Nice erotic story with characters that were very likeable and a decent storyline as well, not rocket science so nice and easy to read. The sex scenes were smokin' hot (goddamn that girl could take some pounding). Boy, I'll take what she got in the form of Sam & Tyler, what a delicious pair. Never thought much about cowboys (living in Australia I guess) but if someone called me darlin' with that Texan drawl I think I would melt. Well worth a read.

Though this book was still too short for my liking, I still really enjoyed the book. There is something about cowboys as in a menage and twins to boot that really make this story hot. There is an emotional element that seems to be missing from a lot of the books I have been reading lately that made me really want the story to continue longer. The thinner element is pretty scary in the beginning but falls flat by the middle of the book which is disappointing. Overall, I still liked it.

What could possibly be better than a sexy as sin alpha male with a sweet and tender side??? TWO

This is a story that you can pick up and the next thing you know there are no pages left. A fast paced story great blend of romance / erotica / mystery & a set of psychic twins you'll wish were yours.

I look forward to reading more books from this author.

I'm not usually into paranormal stories, but this one had just the right amount! The twins use their "special skill" to help find victims who are in harm's way. Who knew it would lead them to a beautiful supermodel who was in need of 2 gorgeous men to save her, in more ways than one? ;) This was my first time reading this author, and I would definitely read her again!

Pretty good story and super cheesy. I loved the two male characters Sam and Tyler. Though it gets complex from there as they are twin, cowboy, psychic FBI profilers who are looking for the one woman who will share a life with the both of them. Kaycee is the SI cover model who is abducted by a fanatic psycho and the twins are on her case.

So the insta-love thing that Sam and Tyler had for Kaycee was a bit annoying for me. The psychic story was interesting but the mystery was a bit flat for me. I did like the chemistry between the three and how they came together separately and together - so that was a plus. Just not the knock out read I've been hoping for lately.

But when you have twin empaths that feel each other feelings?

SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

Kaycee is a model and while she’s leaving a photo shoot she is abducted. While she’s trying to escape, Sam and Tyler are working to help find her. They are identical twins with an unusual psychic gift that allows them to connect with a person as long as they are both touching an object of theirs.

They find Kaycee, but her kidnapper gets away and they decide to use their ranch as a safe house while they try to find him. He has killed others and seems to be after her specifically.

While staying with the twins, Kaycee learns that, because of their unusual psychic connection to each other, the twins have to share women and are looking for that one woman who they can be with forever. They feel like Kaycee might be the one, but they’ll need to convince her of that.

REVIEW:

This was okay. The plot with the stalker/kidnapper/killer was interesting. And the twins’ psychic connection was pretty fascinating and different.

I liked the twins and they were written well so they didn’t sound like the same person. Sometimes with twins there isn’t enough variation to their personalities, but Tyler and Sam were written well and I liked both of them.

Kaycee was alright too. I don’t have too many complaints about her. She wasn’t annoying or anything and I thought she was nice enough.

The romance was kind of meh though. It was hot and sweet times, but mostly it was just kind of dull.

My other main issue was that the book has a lot of typos and errors. Like a lot. Normally I can look past a few here and there. But it honestly seemed like this wasn’t even edited? It was distracting.

Overall it was just okay. I liked the trope of the twins seeking a woman to share. And I liked the suspenseful side plot. But the sex and romance was just mediocre and there were far too many typos.

Poor editing and research

I really wanted to love this story. About 20% into the book, I’d found some typos or words that should have been changed in the final edit, but I was still determined to complete the book.

Then at about 25% read, there was the first “scene” with horses and in just a couple of pages, there were so many mistakes that anyone with any equine instruction wouldn’t have made. I have an animal science degree and although I never expect a person who doesn’t have a degree to have my knowledge, it is also one of my largest pet peeves to read a book with misinformation simply because the writer either thought they had more knowledge than they do or couldn’t be bothered to find someone knowledgeable to fact check with.

I just couldn’t go beyond that chapter knowing that a large part of the remainder of the book would take place in this same setting with likely more misinformation. 😖
