I was hoping for a more in-depth how-to part of this book, but I appreciated the detailed history and working theories involved with hypnosis. The exercises came with corresponding examples/testimonials from clients but felt like a jump from the instructions to the effect with gaps in the explanation. There’s just not a lot of depth/detail in the instruction, but plenty of the theory/psychology behind it.
