This is a cute book about how subtraction can be practiced even when riding the bus home. The students can follow up this book with an activity where they can act out the seating arrangement of a bus and play around with exploring what happens at each bus stop. It can even be extended to addition by adding the people and comparing that on a table to the amount of seats left as people come in. Recommended grade level: K-1.
