I've been generating spelling words off of this. They are the "most common words for teaching reading, writing, and spelling."
Nothing fancy, but it's the perfect list. I ask the kids to spell me a word, they write it on their wipe boards and then reveal the answer. Pretty easy, and they think it is fun.
