This weeks theme in my room is ALL THINGS DINOSAURS! I don't know about YOU but I LOVE DINOSAURS. From back when I was in Pre-K to now teaching. Dinosaurs are AMAZING and learning FACTS ABOUT DINOSAURS EVEN BETTER!
Children were SO excited and engaged and when it came to planning are DEAR (DROP EVERYTHING AND READ) we read this wonderful book centered around dinosaurs and learnt some neat facts that we get to add onto our new anchor chart!
Smashing success and I learnt something new too (the complicated names of all these dinosaurs) how fun!
Quite a fun book filled with interesting facts about Dino facts. It has different areas where you follow the subject marker to the next make, e.g if you read science on page 5 it will direct you to page 15 to learn more about Dino science etc although the layout wasn't brilliant and by the 3rd subject we were going back to the same pages. Brilliant illustrations and photos
My son chose this from our school library and we both loved it so much we would want to add it to our home collection. Beautiful photos. Lots of info on fossils and amazing layered effects!
