Islands at war

General Dwight D Eisenhower, supreme head of the Allied Command in France, believed he was safe from the enemy as he relaxed in the tiny seaside town of Granville. He wasn't to know that only 20 miles away the Germans were coming - Jersey was at war and he was the target.

A fictionalised account of a true daring raid to capture Eisenhower, planned by the German occupational forces based in Jersey, after France had been liberated, who were clinging on to the hope that by doing so they could negotiate a better peace deal if they held the supreme commander hostage.
