History in this format is very boring to me. This book may be for people who already know more about Egypt. It’s outdated though so just dont read it. It reads as a long list of facts and goes deep into mundane details about various objects. It lacks life.

I liked the part about the Amarna period and a brief part at the end that went into egyptian myths. Besides that I was just trying to get through it.
