Mary K. Baxter was a Christian evangelist and author best known for her vivid spiritual visions and revelatory writings. In 1976, she began experiencing a series of supernatural visions of hell and heaven, which she believed were given to her by God to warn the world and lead people to salvation. These experiences became the foundation for her bestselling book A Divine Revelation of Hell, which has sold nearly 1.4 million copies. Based in Florida, Mary traveled globally to share her message, and her ministry was marked by accounts of healing and miracles. Through Whitaker House, she authored a series of books that expanded on her spiritual insights, including A Divine Revelation of Heaven, A Divine Revelation of the Spirit Realm, A Divine Revelation of Angels, A Divine Revelation of Spiritual Warfare, and others. Her writings continue to inspire and challenge readers with their urgent calls to faith, prayer, and spiritual discernment.
A real eye-opener. The thought that we are being seduced, beguiled, tempted, etc., by possession, demons, and spirits, whispering in our ears, working through someone we know speaking falsely, and so on, should not scare you, but make you aware. Evil is on earth and when you realize that God is there for you and that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and that we only have to call on Him to fight our battles is really a glorious thing. Recommended to those who would like to read about spirits and how they work.
Super interesting. I just love this author. Since I've discovered her I am reading through all of her books. She has such an intense relationship with Jesus that I have never seen before in any author or speaker. She has seen some things and I'm learning a lot from her books.
Read her books Divine Revelation of Heaven, Hell and the Spirit Realm. If you understand deliverance, prophecy and demonic oppression this book will be a blessing. Her testimony is so powerful in her books it was hard for me not to be impacted. It gave me the desire to fire up my prayer life and get into my bible alot more. A must read!
Mary K Baxter has been privileged to see visions of heaven, hell and the spirit worlds and shares them in this book. It is very graphic and convicting, generously backed by scripture.
The book is so simplistically written. It is clear the target readership is universal. It is consistent with the epidemic of mental illness, and other troubling end-of-the-age phenomena. I found most of the experiences consistent with scripture. It also seems constrained and highly edited-no doubt due to heavy criticism from skeptics. She said she saw prayers from people, written down by angels and presented to God; in Revelations 8:3 prayers are offered to God, mixed with incense and fire the smoke rises up to the presence of God, the only minor variation.
This is a book written with testimony of personal experiences and has a format that is soundly written. The Word of God is well utilized to bring together the union of His truth with the realities of unseen forces, to some who are not in the gift of those who are witnesses of the living forces, in the spiritual realm. The reading of this book flows very fluidly as her other divine revelation series. It is good book for beginners who are entering into the studies of the Holy scripture, and affirming to the students of the Word.
This book was not as good as the others I've read from Mary K. Baxter. Her best works were divine revelation of hell and heaven. This one was not that great, lost my attention quickly.
Pretty common teaching/revelation about angels, demons, deliverance and spiritual warfare. Good to know different people are saying the same kinds of things.
Very insightful and gave some interesting perspectives on the spiritual realm - some of which have really helped to shape my way of thinking into a manner which has helped me to heal.
Yes, there are encounters with good and bad spiritual beings and everyone must be aware and how to handle any circumstance. Similar to Rebecca Brown MD's books.
