I love this book so much. It's one of my top favorite astrological references. This book contains a lengthy chapter on each single day of the year. You go to your birth date (Mine is November 14th) and this chapter is devoted to your planetary aspects. You will find:

- General introduction
- Sun sign, decanate, degree, mode and element.
- Fixed stars and primary stars containing other planetary aspects
- Your Secret Self
- Primary Star's Influence
- Work & Vocation
- Numerology
- Love & Relationships

And, my FAVORITE thing about this book: Each day contains a list of compatibility dates that you can compare your friends and family to. Titled 'Your Special Someone' it then lists other birth dates under Love & Friendship, Beneficial, Fatal Attractions, Challenging and Soul Mates.

Probably my favorite birthday related reference book of all time. Very detailed and informative, with more general information than other similar books.

Each entry starts out with an explanation of you, your sun sign, its decanate, the degree, mode, and element. then your fixed stars, primary stars, their influences, your secret self, work, vacation, numerology, love & relationships, and even specific dates detailing people born on following dates and their relationships to you.

When I say this is one of the best reference books, I mean it! It also contains an easy introduction to astrology, fixed stars, and numerology for those who are just starting out.

It was a generalized version than a book of specific nature it boasts itself as. Nevertheless amusing to read about the predictions that were anything but when kept on a scale of judging every other day in relation to my own birthdate where none of the qualities fit me or maybe I'm an exception to the rule. According to Vedic Astrology , stars or otherwise lunar mansions are associated with the moon's position at the date, place and time of our birth and not the sun. And the attributes of the lunar mansion seem a better fit than the solar based fixations. And a lot of things about me sounded false and checking with the birthdates of people I knew, except for a couple, everyone else exhibited characteristics completely contradictive to their decanate. So it feels like a lucky fluke generalized version most horoscope readings follow.

Maybe I have read too much astrology articles so my expectations is high but the content while ordering on inaccurate wasn't even stimulating or intriguing. But things about Life Path number and personal year were good.

This book has been in my family as long as I can remember, and at a time when I'm most craving insight into my own flaws and better qualities, this really came in handy. I don't believe everything astrology has to offer to a T, but I don't ignore all that it has to offer, either. I've really been searching for good astrology books like this and have yet to come across any quite as comprehensive.

Bonus: If nothing else, this can serve as a comprehensive character profile for us writers out there. ;]

I borrowed this from the library thinking maybe i'll get more in depth astrological information but it's about the most basic generalized book(glossary more like) i have ever set eyes on. While I appreciate the work and thought put into it, I didn't appreciate how generalized it was, even with the specific birthdays and such. It just... was a no go for me. If you enjoy it then that's lovely! At least someone does!

If you're interested in astrology you will probably love this book. Everyone I've told about this book has bought it and it always makes a lovely gift. Even if you're naturally skeptical it's fun to read about traits that are related to those who share your birthday. It was strangely accurate for me and my friends but I only use it for entertainment purposes.

I must say this is definitely one of the best personolgy book I've read so far. This book gives you an overall insight about people based on their birthdays using decanates & mainly focusing on sun sign system. Regardless their birth year, the book highlights what most people with that birthday have in common which is why to some people i've encountered they would say not all their birthday details reflect their personality. However, I think most of the part are accurate and It was a fun discovery.

My favourite part of the book was definitely the Love & relationship part where we may find list of people birthday that match our personality. I was surprised to see many of my close friends birthday listed there. But too bad there's not much details that explains why ppl on that birthday compatible with you. Nonetheless, still a good reference book to have in order to get to know either yourself and other people.

This is a fun and engaging dive into sun sign astrology, neatly packaged in 1,000-word summaries for each day of the year. It’s light, accessible, and entertaining, offering just enough insight to spark curiosity without fully satisfying the astrology aficionado craving deeper details.

However, those seeking a more comprehensive astrological analysis might find it somewhat superficial. The only new discovery for me was the fixed stars information.

Overall, it's a fun addition to any astrology enthusiast's collection and a pretty coffee table book.

This book has more sentimental value for me than anything. My mother gave me her copy for my sixteenth birthday, and since then I've written in it various special-to-me peoples' birthdays on their corresponding birthday pages, have referred back to the various indexes and guides, and spent a few hours here and there reading back over this section or that. I also gifted my best friend a copy of her own. It's good fun and eerily accurate, a good tool for self-reflection if nothing else.

I've always wanted one of these books. Although supper practical unless you use for work or something but even once you look at all the dates you want to, it's a nice coffee table book. Yes, I will be that friend that invites people over and ask them their birthday. Haha but it's fun to have around.

Love this book. So many wonderful guides and details that I havent found elsewhere. Really enjoyed all the details about the stars and their position in relation to the dates of birth and numerology.
