My 94th Country 'Visited'

Brunei, published in 1991, paints a rosy picture of this small country.

What I learned

It is a peaceful country
It is a small country on a large island. The island is Borneo.
Its econony is oil-based and the country is wealthy because of it.
It is an Islamic country, ruled by a Sultan

The pictures in this book are half the fun. Showing the people, the buildings and the Water Village (built on wooden poles and stilts). The Sultan's Palace is magnificent, as well as the Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque, named after a former sultan. It is comprised of Italian marble, gold and stained glass.

I recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn about other countries. There is much to be gleaned here.
