A deeply humanizing and provocative portrait of a family of elephants in Kruger National Park. Reading gave me nostalgia for my childhood years in SA, and a also a newfound obsession with elephants🐘

I was disappointed with this book as I felt it was written for young people rather than adults despite the glowing reviews given on the cover by Lyall Watson and Dr Ian Player. The post scripts at the end of the book regarding elephants and Kruger Park were very interesting though and made up for the actual story!
