Radio personality Erica McCree really likes sex. Talking about sex, that is....

Ian Carlisle has already seduced Erica's imagination. Now he's trying for the rest of her....

Erica knows firsthand that you can hide a lot behind a microphone. Although she's earned a reputation for discussing every aspect of sex on her show, she's never had to back it up...until a sexy mystery caller proves to be even more irresistible in person. Their on-the-air chemistry sizzles and they heat up the airwaves, debating any and all provocative issues possible. As the ratings soar, so does the sexual tension. But what will Ian do when he discovers Erica's not the sex expert she professes to be?

It’s hard for me to imagine that I’ve been writing romances for over twenty years now! I started at the young age of 21, just after I got married. Reading romances, and then writing them, came about as a result of having too much time on my hands. When I first married my husband Don, I was working a regular nine to five job and he worked swing shift, from four in the afternoon until midnight. It wasn’t an ideal schedule for newlyweds, and in order to pass those hours when I was alone I started reading romances, and eventually tried my hand at writing them.
The road to publication wasn’t an easy one. It took me five years and dozens of rejections to make my first sale, which was to Harlequin for their “Stolen Moments” line. THE FAMILY MAN, written under the pseudonym Danielle Kelly, was one of the twelve novellas published in 1993 for this promotional line.

It took me another two and a half years (and more rejections!) to sell my second book. HEAVEN’S GIFT (written under my own name) was published in October 1995 by Leisure Love Spell for their “An Angel’s Touch” series. Another two years passed of collecting even more rejections before I finally sold to Harlequin Romance and Harlequin Temptation. At the time, writing for both Temptation and Harlequin Romance provided me with a wonderful creative outlet for both my modern, ultra-sexy stories, and my warmer, traditional romances. But as the years passed, I realized how much I enjoyed writing the sexier stories and streamlined my career accordingly so that I was no longer writing the sweet traditional romances, and instead focused on the hotter, sexier stories for Temptation and Blaze.

After writing over two dozen books for Harlequin, I decided to branch out. I wanted to write anthologies and single titles, and came up with an idea about three sexy brothers with the last name of “Wilde”. Little did I know that those Wilde brothers would become such a sensation with readers. In the second Wilde book, WILDE THING, four Wilde cousins were introduced, and readers started writing in for their stories, too. It’s been a joy and pleasure to write each of the Wilde stories, and I want to thank everyone for purchasing those books and putting them on the USA Today Bestseller list!

I’ve been a full-time writer for years, which consists of being deep in deadlines, writing proposals (growling at the husband to fix a glitch in the computer so I can get back to work!), perusing contracts, line-edits (stressing over a scene that won’t work or characters that just won’t talk or cooperate with my plans for them!), galleys, art-fact sheets, promotion, and other publishing paperwork. Admittedly, I wouldn’t trade all the craziness in for pantyhose, rush hour traffic, and a nine-to-five job again. Writing is hard work, but I find the rewards are well worth the effort. Fan letters are one of those priceless rewards, and can keep me on a high for days! I’ve met the most wonderful people through my books, some of which I now consider good friends.

Sebenernya pengin kasih bintang karena ceritanya cetek bener tapi kok ya terjemahannya rapi juga... Jadi bintang 3 deh.

Sayang banget.

Ian menjadikan siaran radio Heat Waves menjadi kebutuhannya setiap malam.

Karakter Ian semacam too good to be true.

Sayangnya typonya banyak banget. Bertebaran di mana-mana.

That was... alright, I guess.

The story wasn't particularly interesting nor was the ending all that satisfying, but it wasn't exactly awful either, which is always a nice plus.

The thing that gets me is how creepy Ian is at the beginning. No, like hear me out. He's just like getting himself off to this lady he's heard on the radio, who he frequently calls to and decides 'hey yeah I'mma date her'. Like??? I don't care how sexy he's supposed to be, that's just creepy stalker fan thing that would need a restraining order.

Also that time she was pouring her heart out to him and all he thought about was licking fruit juice or something off her mouth. Like yeah, bro. Get your priorities.

But, like I said, not horrible.

Kisah cliche, sangat cliche.

Sexy City Nights #3

4 1/2 Stars! ~ Ian lost his fiancée tragically eight years ago, and ever since has buried himself in his work. For awhile now he's been listening to a late night radio talk show, Heat Waves, and has been totally captivated by the sexy voice of the DJ and her provocative topics. Erica's fear of becoming dependant on abusive men, just like her mother and sister, prompted her to run across the nation from California to Chicago. After three hard years, she's finally starting to make something of herself, and all without a man's domineering influence. When Ian starts calling in to her radio talk show, Erica finds herself sweating in the radio booth, and not just because the A/C is broken. Their nightly on-air debates jack up the ratings. When Ian asks Erica out on a real date on-air, she's forced by her listeners to agree. The chemistry is even stronger in person than over the telephone, so the station prompts them to go on a series of dates following a recent magazine article of erotic photos taken from various public places around the city, and then share the dates with Erica's listeners. The heat cranks up even more!

This was an exceptional read! Ian and Erica both share a scarred. childhood and a lonely climb up the career ladder. The love scenes are very hot and extremely well written, esp. the scene in the limo. From the beginning, Ms. Denison brings emotional life to both Ian and Erica. Their story is both passionate and endearing. A definite keeper! And to me, a five star rating all the way!

meh. this was ok. i didn't feel ripped off when i finished it, or anything, but i certainly wasn't looking for an epilogue.

sex was ok, lots of talk about it (due to heroine's job, and the method her and hero meet), but overall the corny dialogue mostly overwhelmed the hotness.

I could tell it was a Blaze straight off sometimes you can sometimes you can't. It was hot and sexy. I can understand her qualms and really don't understand how he soothed them. I wish he would have offered her a partnership.

Fun light read. Erika and Ian on the radio show. Liked that both were honest to their hearts. Hotness was intermediate, not bad, not too little.
