Indiscretions for sure!!
I picked this book because of the title and Donna Hill normally does not disappoint. I started reading and couldn’t put it down. As with most things in life everything is not as it appears. The characters were well written and the other take away is not to allow your past to control your future. I don’t do spoilers so I will just advise to read the book!!

A beautifully crafted book from beginning to end. I really enjoyed reading this one by Ms. Hill. She is a wonderful story teller and it feels like you are a part of the story as well.

Attorney Khendra Phillips has been steadily working on advancing in her career. It looks like all her hard work will finally pay off.
But the case that will make her career has been given to the new hotshot attorney from New York. Sean Michaels is attractive and also a smooth talker. Khendra can't deny her attraction to him and Sean is just as taken with her. Their hot, steamy affair comes to an abrupt ending when secrets are revealed.

I'm thinking...
This book had all the potential elements of being a really great read. Khendra and Sean had the whole enemies to lovers thing going, Carol - the crazy ex, Charisse, the great tell it like it is best friend, and the plot was solid. It just felt like riding a roller coaster reading it. Everything was just so up and down, I got dizzy at times with the way it was written. The transitions between characters were choppy as hurricane waters. ⭐Plot⭐Steam⭐Resolution/HEA

A real page turner full of twists, secrets and
scandalous people. I didn't want to put it down. Great job Donna Hill! I Love the characters, although there were a few I wanted to punch (Alex).

Enjoyable Indiscretions
The description on the back of the book doesn't even begin to explain this complex, yet, intriguing tale that Mrs. Donna Hill has so elegantly spun for our enjoyment. All it states is the following: "Khendra Phillips is at the height of her legal career when the handsome, smooth-talking attorney Sean Michaels bursts onto the scene and threatens to capture not only her love but her career in the legal field as well. Khendra's heartbroken past reminds her how much love can hurt and betray. Can she combat both the demons that plague her heart as well as the ensuing bitterness toward the man who shattered her dreams?"~~~~~~~With so little to go on, I must admit I brought the book because of the catchy title and the handsome looking fella on the front cover.~~~~~~~That being said I was not disappointed in my pick! I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and could not put it down from the moment I picked it up. I was up until 3:30 a.m. reading it. Well worth the bags under my eyes! The characters were definitely memorable. And the storyline flowed effortlessly. There were a few typos, but it didn't hinder the flow of the story. The instant heat and passion between Khendra and Sean was definitely sizzlin'. Sean was quite the irresistible and relentless charmer and you couldn't help but fall victim to all his sweet, smooth talking ways. And then, you couldn't help but despise him when you felt the sting of his betrayal and how he "played" Khendra...or did he?!!!! This story had so many exciting twists and turns I couldn't help but get caught up in what could only be described as an AMAZINGLY thrilling ride of romance and mystery. KUDOS to you, Mrs. Hill!

Is it possible for a romance novel to have the feel of a suspense thriller? If not then author Hill did the impossible with Indiscretions. I was so anxious to find out what was going to happen next I had to slow my role as I was reading without comprehension. But you better believe I went back once I caught myself.
The situations and heart matters pushed this reader and my emotions over the top, at times Khendra was on my nerves with her forgiving Spirit, but then Hill paired her with a no nonsense friend who got her back on track and made me check myself.
At times I thought Khendra and Sean, would have happily ever after, but then Mr. New York enters and you begin to think oh here is my happily ever after oh what an emotional rollercoaster. In the end Hill did an absolute outstanding job of shedding light on how our desires can quickly become our indiscretions.
