This is a particularly useful book for those intending to sit for the MRCPCH part 2 exams. It is concise (which is what every busy junior doctor needs in a medical textbook) and touches on individual subject topics using the tutorials format. Medical tests such as cardiac catheterisation and pulmonary function tests are well explained.

However, this book is not without shortcomings. As it is concise, it is by no means comprehensive. I feel that this book is geared more towards clinical paediatrics. Junior doctors sitting for the MRCPCH should also read other books to grasp a deeper understanding in individual topics (link: http://www.pediatricwebsite.com/mrcpc...).
