Prior to writing her first fiction only a few years ago, Dee S. Knight lived a varied lifestyle. After college she married her high school sweetheart and they became house parents at a home for wards of the court. Thus, she went from newlywed to "mother" of a dozen teenage boys, in a month.

Two years of living in one city proved to be enough, and she and her husband spent the next eight years as long-distance truckers. Swiftly following their trucking years, she became a computer consultant, high school and adult ed teacher, technical writer and novelist. More than thirty years later, she's still married to her own hero and finds life infinitely interesting. They currently reside in the Midwest.

Dr. Margaret Amis-Hollings, after years working as a professor for a small New Jersey college, loses her position. Shaken to the core, she doesn't know what she's going to do. That is, until she's given a beautiful piece of property in historic Virginia as a bequest. Seeking solitude, she envisions restoring the home and property in order to sell it. But her whimsical thoughts take a nosedive after her first night's sleep. Her home is haunted and judging by her body's reaction, her resident ghost ignites a fire within her. As she works with the guy she hired to help her restore the place, she can't help but think he's got an ulterior motive. When she finds out he's a descendant of the very friendly ghost, she's conflicted. She must follow her destiny. Which man will seduce her and win her heart?

Passionate Destiny is an erotic paranormal romance unlike anything I've read before. Is an apparition able to give a human pleasure? This part of the plot I found hard to believe at first, but Dee S. Knight changed my mind by the time I finished it. A heroine at a crossroads in her life? I disliked Margaret from the beginning. I found her abrasiveness hard to relate to. But the more I discovered what makes Margaret tick, the more I understood her. A love triangle with one of them being a ghost? I have never read anything like this before. I'm a huge romance lover and this book reaffirmed my belief of love finding you when you least expect it. A brilliant paranormal romance with plenty of hot interludes. Highly recommend!

I've been wanting to read a book by Ms. Knight ever since I encountered her post on a blog. I chose Passionate Destiny because I'm a believer in ghosts and the blurb hooked me with a brief description of the characters. I'm not normally a reader of erotica, but I have to say, this book is erotic romance. I think there is a distinction. The romance is sweet, the sex is hot, and the story is intriguing. The main characters are educated and well-read. I love that the hero is mistaken as simply a construction guy by the heroine who is rather snooty with her evaluation. There is humor with the ghost episodes but also passion you will find intriguing if you like ghost stories. After reading Passionate Destiny, I will most definitely be ready other books by Ms. Knight.

Passionate Destiny by Dee S. Knight is a surprisingly amazing story. I'm not a huge fan of the genre but who knew erotic paranormal romance is so awesome?! The characters are great, the plot is hot and intriguing. I absolutely recommend!

I came across this book and I wondered how erotic and ghosts can be combined. Well, apparently they go together in one fantastically written plot with well developed characters, humor and passion. Definitely one of a kind novel!
