This book is very informative, but also very dry. I had to read it piecemeal because I was genuinely getting tired at times. Granted I was mostly reading it on my commute to work in the morning, but still, I just couldn't focus on it for too long. It really shows how a lot of modern Zionist activities were inspired by the British, so the history itself is very interesting. The author just presented it in such an academic format that I couldn't really enjoy it. Definitely an important and underappreciated book, but there are much more engaging history books out there.
