This book covers those horse breeds categorised within the hunter show class as well as those used in hunting and point to point racing. It starts with an introduction into what a hunter is, how to buy and care for and breed it to utilising them in the field, how to show them as well as their participation in hunter trials, cross-country and point to point races. It was written before the hunting ban so the effects of this are not covered although I suspect much of what is covered is still relevant.
