This book came with my Kindle Unlimited subscription along with pretty much everything Ruskin Bond wrote, it does seem. I loved the title of this slim book of poems - eine kleine Nachtmusik that is.
There's a sweetness and simplicity to these poems of the type that pervades almost all of Mr Bond's writing. My favorite is the litany of flowers and the little poem about night time.
Some of these are clearly written for children and others just as clearly for the grown ups. Regardless you'd find this is a tender book to read on a summer's day in the park.
This is a book of poetry by Ruskin Bond. If you have read enough Bond books, you would be familiar with his style of poetry. The poems in this collection are lyrical, humorous and insightful. Reading some of these poems is such a joy that you want to reread them again and again. I think children would definitely enjoy reading this book of poetry by their favourite author.
Some poems were okay. I think the poet really forced in some rhymes for the sake of rhyming which affected the overall quality of most of these poems. It came across a bit cringey at times.
