Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) Meet a jack-o-lantern, witch, robot, mummy, and vampire in this silly book about Halloween monsters.
Highlights: Fuzzy cover for tactile experience. Easy sentences with rhyming structure that encouraged my little one to read along in a sing-song voice.
Lowlights: Expected more from a "funny faces" book. The googly eyes don't add much to the experience.
My 2 year old picked out this book when we were at Homesense. I was looking for a birthday gift for my 4 year old and we magically ended up in the book section lol. My kids loves this book. They find it hilarious. Though I’m a little disappointed the book that we got doesn’t light up or make sounds.
With a cast of creepy characters and funny rhymes to read aloud, this Halloween book is a spooktacular delight! The youngest trick-or-treaters will love the fuzzy cover, googly eyes, and board pages that are perfect for little hands to turn.
Very simple large format board book with marvelous spooky characters. I loved the google eyes effect, and the spooky laughter emenating from the last page is fun too. Fuzzy cover is a nice touch.
