Barbie can be anything she wants to be. And she knows every career is important in its own way. One thing's for sure, being a good listener, caring about others, and taking pride in her work all add up to success no matter what Barbie does!
First-time astronauts Barbie and Kira soar into place on a very important mission. Everything goes smoothly until Kira takes her first walk outside the shuttle. Then it's up to Barbie and the rest of the crew to stay calm and think on their feet - the success of their mission depends on it!
in another alternate universe, barbie is now an astronaut.
the colors were all very pretty; deep blues and blacks. barbie made spacegear look attractive. however, all the pictures were relatively the same.
i don't have much of an interest in science, so the past two books have been kind of boring for me, with a huge lack of interpersonal drama. also found it interesting that ken is introduced as barbie's "friend"?! he's like ned in the nancy drew series. not always clear what his role is.
i don't know how accurate this book was, but it's the first one i've read that seemed to be educational in some way. i learned some new fun facts about space.
