This is one of my favourite Alistair MacLean books; it’s a great thriller and captures the cold harsh conditions brilliantly. Great characters and fantastic plot.

Some weeks ago, I read ‘Night Without End’ written by Alistair Maclean. It was a really good book and I could really empathize myself in it. It was also a page-turner because I read the book in less than three hours.
The book is about a plane that crashes somewhere on the Polar ice-cap near a weather station. When the scientists heard that something was wrong with the plane, they immediately decided to leave their weather station and go help the people who were on the plane when it crashed. So the three scientists took all their warm clothes and some extra too for the eventual plane crash survivors. After starting to help the survivors they found out that the pilot had been shot in the head and there were some other things that didn’t seem right. Now they know that the pilot has been killed, all the survivors and scientists have to find out which survivor is the killer.
I really liked the book because the story was really exciting and I couldn’t stop reading. In my opinion there weren’t any downsides in the book, so I would recommend everyone to read this thrilling book and I would give it a five star rating.

This book is about a British airlines airplane that crash landed on the Polar ice cap,far away from its usual route to iceland.
Luckely three scientific researchers who worked near the crash site were there to rescue the surviving passengers. They found four dead men on the plane, but the two pilots died from bullets and not from the crash.
The ten survivors seems ordinary people but are they? There are so many questions to solve.
First of all the only way to ask for help (a radio) is broken by someone of the survivors, another injured man is murdered. Why were none of the passengers wearing seat belts in the plane? Were they drugged because they all had a dazed look in their eyes and their reactions were very slow. And last but not least who killed the pilots and why?
With not enough food for everyone and no hope for rescue the leader of the research team decides that he had to look for help.
Meanwhile they discover that the plane was carrying something very important. So important that people wanted to kill for it.
With the help of an old tractor they looked for help through temperatures 40 degrees below zero, throught ice and wind storms and over rough terrain.
The final challenge will be: finding and arresting the ruthless murderers of this awful plane crash.

This book is a good thriller and keeps your attention from the beginning until the end. It is enjoyable reading for anyone who likes adventure, action and mystery.
The book is worth reading because it keeps you on the edge of your seat and let you guessing until the very end, and every guess you make is wrong.
For me it could be a true story. I wish that someone would even make a movie out of it.

The story begins when an airplane crashed on the Polar ice cap, some 640 kilometres of the Arctic Circel.
there ware three others people to help the surviving passengers. They found four dead people on the plane. the two pilots died from bullets and not from the crash. Someone fired those bullets to the plane. The surviving passengers looks normal at the beginning, but more to the end you get to know them better.

They have a radio to ask for help , but the radio is broken and another man is dead. You can ask so many questions, like why were nobody of the passengers wearing seat belts on the flight? It looks like they took some drug. And who killed the pilots?

there was not enough food for everybody and no hope. Together they went looking for help. On the plane there was something important and maybe that’s the reason why the plane crashed.
They had to survive temperatures 40 degrees below zero , cold wind and lots of ice and snow. On the end you know why the plane crashed and how they survived.

If you like excitement and adventure than is tis book something for you. You can read it easily. Once you start reading the book you don’t want to stop anymore. It will remains until the end.

You have no idea how good this 102 pages thriller was in comparison to some 400-500 pages crime-fiction books I've read recently!!

The survivors of a plane crash in the polar ice cap are lucky enough to have scientists nearby to rescue. However, while searching the plane for clues as to why the plane crashed, the scientists discover that the pilot was shot...

As a mystery book, the Night Without End is one my favorite books. The authors uses good words to represent the situation in the book as it gets harsher and harsher until the killer is finally revealed.

I read the Oxford bookworms version.

I really liked the story, it's a bit short... but a good plot.
There are some things that I found obvious but some things left me thinking, which is what I like.

I recommend this story for people who like thrillers.

This is an interesting book that kept me turning the pages non-stopping :P I like the way dramatic events were built up and I felt like watching the movie while reading the text. The only thing I didnt like about this fiction is that the character wasnt described well enough for me to cling their name with their images. I had to turn back the pages, like many times, to really recall who was this person being mentioned.

The plot is good. The characters are interesting but there are few descriptions so I wanted to know more about them. I wonder whether that is because it is a simplified one or not.
