3 STARS for Trouble with Tink 4 STARS for Tink, North of Neverland These were better than I expected, though still not amazing literature by any means. I think the series about the Fairy Bell Sisters (beginning with Sylva and the Fairy Ball) is better written and more enchanting, but those aren't about Tink and Neverland, so if your little one is really into Tinkerbell then these are decent enough.
As with most books on my "with kids" shelf this is a book that children in my care have shown a marked interest in and I read to ensure that I could hold a reasonable conversation with them about the book.
I have never cared for Tink and her world before and this book does not entice me to want to enter it again any time soon.
That said this is a great "primer" for young readers, especially girly-girls, and I would not hesitate to recommend it as a purchase for those looking for a good book for young girls, but not for a child over the age of 7; 8 might be pushing it.
Tinkerbell losing her hammer and having to go to Peter Pan to get her other hammer when she doesn't want to. And I forgot about the other story. - Auryn (7 years old)
