People Called Nazarenes

In this historic tent, holiness groups from the east, west, and southern regions of the United States met in October 1908 to form the Church of the Nazarene. The tent was pitched on vacant ground on the campus of Franklin College, adjacent to the Rest Cottage in Pilot Point, Texas. Pilot Point was, and is, a small rural town located north of Dallas, about half-way to the Oklahoma border.
