This short "booklet" contains many short superficial statements about mindfulness. Each page basically begins with a title followed by a brief elaboration of that particular statement. Personally I felt most are rather vague. For instance:
"Listen to Your Higher Self.. Allow Yourself to Wonder.. Walk With a Gentle Heart.. Nurture Your Authentic Self.. Align With the Universe.. Wake Up Your Spirit.. " etc etc..
Furthermore I wasn't expecting this "spiritual" book to be biblical at certain passages of the book. I dont feel these short paragraphs are practical at all. To me, most are simply plain statements that are rather cliche and meaningless. 2/5.
This book I bought along time good and decided to read it again. A cute and short book that expresses ways to feed your soul. The author is Christian and references “God” once or twice but I still think no matter what religion you are, you can still benefit from reading this book.
Even reading only a few sentences from this book calms me to the point necessary for relaxation and reflection. I carry it with me for those times in which I need some guidance.
