This informational text contains a lot of information about sharks. It is 48 pages long with content divided into sections which makes it an accessible read. There is visual support and Did You know inserts along the way. Each section usually starts with a very engaging description of a real shark attack which should keep readers' interests. End pages include a glossary, index, and additional resources for further exploration of this topic.

A "Step Into Reading"-style book published in 2000. Chapter 1 talks about John Forse who was attacked in April 1998 and "plans to go surfing again as soon as he can" according to the book. Dated.
