I have a long-standing fantasy about selling my suburban home and moving to Cape Cod (I even get daily real estate bulletins on Cape property), so I was hoping this book would help me determine whether this was just meant to be a dream or if we should make the leap.

The biggest problem with this book is that it is wildly out of date. The relocation stories are all from the 1980s and the research tips seem almost quaint (e.g. call the local chamber of commerce to find out X, Y, and Z). There is not a single mention of the new-fangled research tool--what's it called?? Oh ya, the Internet!

That being said, the book does offer some valuable advice for persons who have decided to make such a move.

This book would have been great about 12-15 yrs ago. It was a little out dated and didn't mention much in the way of online research or resources. Also some of the information was a bit basic like changing utilities, etc. Overall it was still worth reading because it did give some good tips and a couple good case studies but it wasn't quite what I was looking for.
