About the author

My first six novels, written under the name Lynn Armistead McKee, were historical fiction set in Florida about 2,000 years ago. Now writing as Lynn Sholes, I have recently changed genres and I am co-writing a 3-book thriller series(Cotten Stone Mysteries) with Joe Moore. The first, THE GRAIL CONSPIRACY, was released in September 2005 as part of Llewellyn Publications launch of their new fiction imprint, Midnight Ink. THE LAST SECRET is scheduled for fall of 2006, followed by the third book, INDIGO RUBY to be released in the fall of 2007.

In times when native Americans ruled their small parts of the land, a young woman finds herself running. Her wisdom in hiding and taking care of herself against the mosquitoes as well as the people, is engrossing. When first woke up after finding a hiding place for the night, she finds the most unusual knife. There is blood in her hair. She isn't sure if she's a good person or an evil person. She doesn't know what tribe she's from. Yes, she doesn't even know her name.

Two warriors come and take her to their home. This story tells you all she had to endure to prove herself and find herself.

Love between two tribes is possible when you don't realize you're each from a different tribe. What one does for the other no matter what shows you the values of life and the endurance one has no matter what.

A well written book that is fun to read! Pick up a copy today!

This is the book that I got my screen name Cimmera from when I was 15! Too bad the other 3 books in this series weren't very good.
