WOW. Nancy Beach casts such a vision for the arts in the local church that one can't help but be impassioned and excited about the use of creative elements in their worship gatherings. She also challenges the leaders of "the hour on Sunday", saying that if an hour is all you have, you better make it count. Never have I read a book that has gotten me so fired up about creating life-impacting moments of transcendence in worship services. This book opened my heart and mind up even more to incorporating creative elements that have the potential to be life-transforming; creative elements that are meaningful and move the soul. If you are passionate about making the hour on Sunday mornings count, then you need to read this book. I guarantee you will finish it with a greater (or new!) vision for creativity and the arts in your worship gatherings.

Great resource for Worship Leaders! my only nitpick is that some of the graphics in this book, while they are fun, make it difficult to focus on the text. this was a textbook for a class I took. helpful book.
