Judy is an author and speaker who helps to equip and encourage women to look for the joy in life, while also learning to survive and thrive during the challenges of life. Judy knows, as women, we need to step up and encourage one another.

In her books, Judy has a candid writing style. With a foundation in Christian faith, and plenty of her own hurdles in life, Judy's books offer doable, practical, and encouraging suggestions.

Her realistic approach addresses issues that affect real women, with real problems, needing real solutions. She writes and speaks on: motherhood (when it doesn't go exactly as planned), friendship (with all its ups and downs), postpartum depression (letting women know they're not alone as she offers steps to wellness).

Judy is the first one to admit, “I will never arrive and have it all together. However, as women, I feel we owe it to one another to share what we know and show that we care! "
Judy also writes for a broad variety of clients through her freelance writing business, JLD Writes. She works with clients on content development and editing, as she coaches clients on their writing (and publishing), one-on-one.

BOOKS: Judy’s first book, "Refreshing Hope in God" encourages moms when motherhood isn’t going as planned. Paperback and Kindle on Amazon
Judy is the co-author of "Friendship Interrupted," a book that speaks to a myriad of issues women face in their relationships with one another. Women that value friendship love this book. (Paperback and Kindle editions available on Amazon.com).
A great book club choice.
In 2017, Judy’s latest book was released: "Breaking the Grip of Postpartum Depression: Walk Toward Wellness with Real Facts, Real Stories, and Real God"
A topic she is passionate about, her book reaches out to women who desperately need to know they are not the only one to experience this bizarre medical condition. Kindle and paperback editions are available on Amazon.
Judy is a contributing author to: "But Lord, I was Happy Shallow," (Kregel, 2005), "The One Year Life Verse Devotional," (Tyndale Publishing, 2007), "Laundry Tales to Lighten Your Load" (Evergreen Press 2007). "Life Sparks" (2016)
