Books can be attributed to "Anonymous" for several reasons:
* They are officially published under that name * They are traditional stories not attributed to a specific author * They are religious texts not generally attributed to a specific author
Books whose authorship is merely uncertain should be attributed to Unknown.
Yay, I did it! I made it through the Bible! :) I'm so proud! (Which is ironic since pride is one of the seven deadly sins. Haha).
I enjoyed this more modern version. I appreciated the straightforward language (and occasionally chuckled over certain unusual turns of phrase), which made it feel more relatable and easy to understand.
So, I think I did right by reading the Bible twice, in all its entirety, (this version and the NIV version previously). Going forward, I think I may skip over the Old Testament; it's super-long and is often extremely difficult to understand.
