مجموعة مقالات لأستاذ الاقتصاد ستيفن لاندسبرغ يشاركنا فيها رأيه حول موضوعات مختلفة معظمها متعلق بعلم الاقتصاد المميز فيها هو أنها آراء جريئة غير تقليدية على الإطلاق و في كثير من الأحيان كانت مخالفة تماما لما هو سائد و معروف. الحكمة الي يحاول الكاتب قولها (كما علمها لابنته ذات التسع أعوام) أنه يجب علينا أن نمتلك دائما القدرة على التحليل المنطقي السليم و الجرأة الكافية للتشكيك و نقد الأفكار السائدة لأنه كثيرا ما يثبت خطأها. قد تجد نفسك غير معني ببعض الأمور الي يتحدث عنها الكاتب فهو ينتقد قوانينا و أحكام معينة سائدة في اميركا و يسترسل جدا في الحديث عن عيوبها، إلا أن معظم المواضيع التي يطرحها (مثل العمالة الحرة- الضريبة التصاعدية- الحد الأدنى للأجور و غيرها) تستحق الأهتمام و تثري معلومات القارئ حول علم الاقتصاد خصوصا و أنه يتناولها من منظور مبسط فإمكان أي شخص فهم المحتوى دون أن يكون دارسا لمجال الاقتصاد و هذا هو أكثر ما يميز اسلوب ستيفن في الشرح.

كتاب ممتع وبه افكار لطيفة ومبسطة وان كانت تحتاج الى المزيد من الشرح لتوصيل المعلومة بشكلها التام
عيبه افتقاره للترابط.
عنوان الكتاب اللعب النظيف وحسب مفهمت من المقدمة هي محاولة لتبسيط بعض المفاهيم حتى تصير واضحة على ابنته
لكن مشاهدت هالبساطة خصوصا بعد المائة صفحة الاولى.
بشكل عام يستاهل القراءة ..لكن خيب ضني وكنت متوقع اكثر من هالكتاب.

اللعب النظيف
ما تتعلمه من طفلك عن الإقتصاد والحياة، كتاب مفيد يحتوي على مواضيع اقتصادية مستخلصة من جوانب الحياة الإنسانية، الأفكار المطروحة فيه قد تعرضت للنقد والمناقشة من قبل زملاء المؤلف حتى تنتهي إما إلى رفضها أو قبولها مع وجود حجة مقنعة.
تتعلم من المؤلف اسلوب الحوار العقلاني أثناء محادثته مع ابنته الصغيرة في المفاضلة بين الإختيارات الصعبة فمثلا:
- مفاضلة بين اكتساب دخل إضافي إو التمتع بوقت الفراغ
- العيش في بذخ أو التوفير من أجل الغد
أيضا من المواضيع النقاشية بين المؤلف وابنته عن المصروف الشهري من حيث أنه حق خالص لها أم مكافأة مجزية، كذلك حول اختيار الفيلم، هل لأنه يعجبها أم أنه حاز على قبول الأغلبية.
الكتاب يقدم شي بسيط لفهم أهداف الآخرين الناتج عن مراقبة سلوكيات من حولك من الناس، فهو يساعد على النضج العقلي كونك ترى العالم بعيون الغير.
بعض المقتطفات التي يدعو لها الكاتب وهي كالآتي باختصار:
- الإستقلالية الفكرية
- تجنب اعتقاد أن آراء الكبار آراء صحيحة ومسلمات دون تمحيص وتفكير
- إدراك أن الأشياء في حقيقتها ليست مثل الصورة التي تبدو عليها
- تحرر العقل من التحيزات التي تقتل التساؤلات في مهدها
- مناقشة اسلوب التفكير
- استخدام الأفكار الإقتصادية لتعليم الناس التسامح والتعاطف والدقة الفكرية
- طرق اختيار البدائل على حسب الظروف فما يناسبك قد لا يناسب غيرك.
في نهاية المراجعة ، الكتاب يستحق الإقتناء فهو نتاج فكري رائع إلا أن هناك مواضيع أخرى طويلة تشعر القارئ بالملل.

More population more prosperity, but where do we find natural resources?
We need to count on next generations to solve overpopulation, why not we just education well current people to have a kid less.
There are many parts i don't quite get convinced, and i know as economist, the only way to let this system keeps going, we need to buy, we need to earn money, spend money...etc. I just wonder we only care about human lives, how about other animals?
Anyway, i can not be economist due to i don't actually trust capitalism. And that's my choice.

Combining parenting with economics. with the economics given the focus and love for the child providing the motivation. Sort of a "how to look and the world and its possible injustices" given the combination of mathematics and the guilelessness of somebody who is getting to learn the world.

Based af. I think he's simplistic in a lot of arguments and analogies, and holes can be poked very easily through a lot of them. He does make some compelling arguments though, and definitely makes you think from first principles though which I think is the goal.

في البداية لم يوضح الكاتب ستيفن لاندسبيرج اهداف الكتاب و المعايير التي اعتمدها كرجل اقتصادي في مناقشة الموضوعات المدرجة ، غير انني يجب ان اكون منصفا عندما ابدي إعجابي بجرأته الفكرية في
مناقشة الأفكار المسبقة و إخضاعها الى التحليل من اكثر من زاوية خصوصا الاقتصادية منها . في هذا الكتاب تناقش أمور مثل التمييز العنصري ، الدين العام و الاقتراض ، البيئة ، التركات ، الضريبة التصاعدية و تأثير المال و الثروة على المستهلكين و ما سيلحق الأحفاد .
اعتقد أن الموضوعات شيقة و لكن الكتاب يفتقر الى الترابط و تشكيل هدف أساسي في ذهن القارئ خصوصا اذا ما ربط المأمول بالعنوان ، لذا اوضح لمن يريد من قرأته بانه مجموعة من الأعمدة الصحفية لرجل اقتصادي في مواضيع مختلفة .

I admit it - I skimmed this book. I was mostly interested in how a child's viewpoint of the world related to economic issues and ideas. When the author started going off on theories that made me think too much, I skipped it.
I definitely gained an appreciation for the way economists question everything. Where would the world be without them?

الكتاب مبدئيا عجبني واستفدت منه شوية
بس المشكلة ان في بعض الكلام غير المنطقي وبعض الكلام اللى بيناقد نفسه فيه
يعنى هو بيقول احنا المفروض نعمل كذا بدل كذا وفي نهاية الكتاب في شوية نصائح للحياة فيها عكس اللى هو قاله فى الكتاب كله يعني ختامها مسك

Argues that if only we adopted the morality of "children" as in the "playground" then our world would be a better place. Evidently Landsburg didn't read Lord of the Flies.
