Presto! The best magic book ever gets even more amazing. Although The Klutz Book of Magic is a beginner's volume, it is not filled with beginner magic. Maybe that's the secret of its success. This is real magic and these are real tricks, the kind you're not supposed to give away. We had to fight to get them and you, gentle reader, will have to take the Magician's Won't-tell Oath on the first page or we won't let you in the book. Comes with a magician's five-piece prop kit. This book includes a latex square that contains Natural Rubber Latex which may cause allergic reactions. Comes silk scarf (imported), chrome ring, nylon string, 2 top-secret props • Create wonderful things • Be good • Have fun
This was the second magic instruction book that I ever owned. I picked it up in college and though I only learned to do two of the tricks well, I adored it. It was fun. Well written. Easily understandable. The only thing that prevented me from continuing my magic studies was the fact that I did not know where to get more books.
I had this as a child, though I don't know how many of the magic tricks I actually did. In fact, my elementary class would learn magic tricks in school, so I think most of my magic know-how (and I have very little, but I was excited to recently pull some out to totally blow the minds of the preschoolers I teach) comes from that and not from this. The tricks often seemed very, very complicated. I only tried one of them and just read through the rest.
