For nearly two decades, Anthony Robbins has dedicated his life to discovering the most advanced principles for producing accelerated change. He is the nation's expert in the psychology of peak performance and personal, professional, and organizational "turnaround," and has led the way in providing cutting-edge tools for individuals wanting to make radical improvements in their careers, emotional well-being, relationships, finances, time management, health and vitality, and professional growth
For more than 30 years Tony Robbins' passion has been helping people BREAK THROUGH and take their lives to another level -- no matter how successful they already are -- in the areas that matter most: their business, personal finance, intimate relationships, families, careers and health.
Tony Robbins has helped more than 50 million people from more than 100 countries transform their lives and their businesses through his books, audio programs, health products, live events and personal coaching. He's been fortunate enough to work with everyone from presidents of countries to some of the true legends of entertainment, sports and the business world. But his work is not limited to Fortune 500 CEOs and athletes. He has a special passion for small-business owners, parents and students.
Being the Chairman of seven privately held companies and five holding companies in diverse industries keeps him busy. Many of his companies have become brands that are leaders in their category - from the award winning Namale Resort & Spa in the Fiji Islands, to Twinlab and Metabolife in the sports nutrition field, to the Anthony Robbins brand in personal and professional improvement.
Most of Tony's core strategies for creating breakthroughs have come from his work with some of the biggest names in the business world: He's had the privilege of modeling and distilling the strategies of leaders in some of the fastest-growing companies in the world. He's used these distinctions to help optimize and grow enterprises to new and more profitable levels.
One of the things Tony is most proud of is his humanitarian work through the non-profit Anthony Robbins Foundation. He's always believed that if we're blessed enough to have insight and economic opportunities, then we're also blessed enough to be able to give back. To those who much has been given, much is expected. Tony Robbins is extremely blessed to be able to feed more than two million people in 56 countries every year through his International Basket Brigade.
This is basically a "how to" manual for being the best version of yourself. I've always been a very driven person but I used to be miserable. Basically I made a great income but had zero purpose in my life and was in a constant state of anxiety, fear, and worry. Personal Power is part of my morning routine. I'm in a consent cycle of "30 days" and have been for years. I listen to a day every morning and do the exercises. It's amazing when I go back and look at what I wrote down years ago and how things have changed.
The stuff Tony teaches in this program is HARD. If someone tells you it's easy they probably aren't getting the full effect of the lessons. Using techniques like Anchoring running Swoosh Patterns the right way is extremely difficult especially for someone who's never done it before. Goal setting is the same thing. The first time I did it in the program I probably had 20 things written down. Now I can fill up pages.
The important thing to remember is that you are conditioning an entirely new YOU. Conditioning is the key word. You'll try to do a Swoosh Pattern and you won't be able to see the pictures the first time, second time, and maybe even the third or fourth time. That's OK. It took me about 5 times of going through the program before I felt that I actually set an anchor.
Your moving towards and moving away from values will also probably suck in the beginning. Mine were something like "Money" and "Fear" the first time I did it. Now I probably have 15 for each.
The point is that it's not really "30 Days to Change Your Life." I believe that you need to make what Tony teaches a lifestyle. And doing that takes consistent repetition (the mother of all skill). As I said before, I am on a consistent cycle of "30 days" and have been for a long time. I see dramatic changes in my life month to month. Year to year, it's like an entirely new person.
This book and the audio program where the catalyst for me re-inventing my life and fully understanding that I can choose to be do and have whatever I want.
I own Personal Power and Personal Power II (as well as EVERY other course RRI has published). PPII is the ALL-Time greatest and most influential in my life. I won't say that Tony redefined the way I live and approach life. For the most part, I was doing a lot of what he teaches already. He just gave a name to the processes. That isn't to say I didn't learn a lot from him...I have learned more from Tony than from all others combined. I go through either PPII or Get The Edge every two or three years. I don't do it more frequent b/c the goals I set are often longer termed goals and going through a program every six or nine months, with goals set for two years out...that would be three or four iterations where the same goal was not reached. While I "know" the reason behind it, psychologically it would start rubbing on me that I haven't been achieving my goals as often as before. SO, two to three years between curriculums has been working effectively for me. I HIGHLY recommend everyone trying Personal Power or Personal Power II at least once and applying himself or herself to the lessons and assignments!
One of the most inspiring and motivating books in my life. Highly recommend to anyone. Just get the guts to make it for the whole 30 days, and then take the good things and use them over and over again.
Great info. Top takeaways: ULTIMATE SUCCESS FORMULA:
1. Know your outcome in each area of your life. Clarity is power! Ask "what is my outcome?" Most people's problems is they don't know what they want.
2. Take action to move toward your outcome. Overcome fear by walking through it. It's not what you can do in life, it's what you do in life. Make sure your fear is not a Jailer but a guide.
The most successful people fail more than anyone else and push through fear.
3. Pay attention and measure.
4. If what you're doing is not working or you're failing then try a new approach and change what you're doing.
Use modeling in order to eliminate time and achieve your results faster.
Learn to turn failure into success. An example is Post-It note pads.
TAKE ACTION RIGHT NOW!
Behavior is determined by pain. Whatever you link the most pain to you will decide from that.
Quite effective training program. though a bit long(30 days) but still was worth the time . the first two sessions are going to bore you but they are the foundation of the whole program
I've always though Tony Robbins was hokey--but "I am Not Your Guru" gave me pause. This tape is a bit dated--and there are occasional eye rolling comments, but it's inspirational and I think has some legitimately good ideas, approaches and questions.
To get yourself to focus for 30 Days (or close to it) keeps yourself in that headspace.
The best and most practical box set to turn your life around. Filled with excellent tips and methods to change your habits, change your thinking, being more positive, believing in yourself, boosting your confidence and so much more!!
well what can I say, another typically well motivational put and excellently explained to live an exceptional life by tony robbins, just as you'd expect from the guy, 5 stars

It has been years now since I listened to this in audio book fromat, but this guy is the embodiment of both inspirational and motivational. Especially when you listen to his "come on get going!" gravely voice, as he enthusiastically reads all his own audio books. I don't remember too many details about this specific audio book (it has been too many years) but I know I've incorporated many of his suggestions into my daily life. Highly recommended!
I've been reading fairly widely in the self-improvement field since about 2010, and this is the best single thing I've found. First issued in the mid-1990s, it isn't a book, per se, but a series of audiotapes (I bought a used copy via eBay). Robbins's single-minded faith in the power of individuals to overcome obstacles and limiting beliefs has an undeniable power.
