Somewhat frustrating, are words that come to mind. An interesting, but very difficult to follow, story made even more difficult by a very stylized pen. That said, there are times when that very same stylization of the story works well and enhances the experience of the book. Unfortunately, there were more occasions of befuddlement due to the particular phrasing of the writing. Then again, maybe it’s just me. Maybe you should give it a try and unlock the narrative. Let me know if you do.
