A curmudgeonly shut-in's life is turned inside-out when he becomes involved with a trash-talking femme fatale, a trio of psychotic gangsters, and a dog whose incessant barking has caused him years of sleepless nights. Spiked with ample doses of sex, violence, and campy humor, Dead Dog is a riotous road trip from an Arizona trailer park to hell.
This book wasn’t THAT bad. There were some good points, the writing flowed well, and that’s about it. The characters were impossible to like, the plot was just bizarre and went in 100 different directions, and the ending was insane. 90% of this book was the narrator just yapping and being insufferable and the other 10% was violence that wasn’t explained until the last ten pages. There were also a bunch of typos and editing errors that could’ve been easily fixed. Don’t get me wrong, this wasn’t that bad- a solid 5/10, but it was just nothing I’d read again.
Dead Dog follows the tale of two hot twin sisters from the perspective of a trailer park shut in. Desiree lives at the trailer park, married to the owner. There's a big barking dog and cock fights. Read it.
This was certainly hard enough to read, evaluate, but the search for a fine line between me and you, to rate it, certainly this is really really good, before the point of just perfect.
