Although this book is a very good guide for introducing students about the various processes that are being used today for manufacturing goods in industries, it is not written in as an interesting manner as I would have hoped. It had all the tools, line diagrams of the process, history of manufacturing, raw materials, technology used etc, but it lacked inventive techniques of writing. If it was a book teaching us principles of a unit operation or process, I would have let the thought pass; however, in such situations where a very dry subject dealing only with theoretical knowledge is concerned, it should have had more tables and diagrams/pictures etc to make the text more appealing.

I would have also liked some practice questions at the end of each chapter and some self-assessment questions during the text, to enhance the interest of the reader.
