The author has another book called, Navajo Places, which is a detailed guide to the history, legends, and landscapes of the land of the Navajos. This book focuses on the Navajoland places that appear in Tony Hillerman’s detective novels, making it a kind of subset of the former book. The text describes each place, with a note about each novel where the place appears and why. I recommend this book but only if you are an enthusiast for the novels, otherwise it will languish on the shelf.
