This book is amazing. Much of the information comes from a different time (70s-80s) compared to our present but the message still is the same, society needs to be educated correctly about substances.

Designer Drugs talks about the synthetic narcotics that began to rise during that time in the US, contains stories and opinions from all sides of the story: Doctors, DEA Agents, Chemists (both DEA and Underground), Users & Ex-Users. Excellent read for those interested on educating themselves on the War on Drugs and acquire some historical background to it, though much more reading will be necessary as this book doesn't cover all the bases (and it is not the intention of said book anyways).

Great read, I liked it. Thanks to Hamilton Morris for allowing me to find out about this book and to the bookstore that had a spare copy that sold it to me.
