A sweet and basic review of the blessings that come when me bless their family members. Nothing new or earth-shattering in terms of doctrine or insight, but a nice, compact reminder of a tradition and a power that can and will bless our families when exercised righteously.
This book had an interesting analogy and good advice, but it was arranged and edited so poorly it was hard to follow the 'parable' and remember the points her was trying to make. I even forgot I had finished the book because the ending doesn't seem any different than the rest of the book, there's no clear conclusion. Overall I'm glad I read it and will talk to Travis about him giving our daughters more father's blessings, really making them a part of our family traditions, but if you want to read it don't expect anything profound.
My brother's father-in-law wrote this book. I really enjoyed the stories (and learning more about my sister-in-law). The book is about the importance of father's blessings and patriarchal blessing in our lives. It is a quick, but great read for a Sunday.
