He looks heavenly, stretched out along the length of the chair like a young god in repose. — Thom
Warnings: Exhibitionism, voyeurism, cheating (prior to story)
I don't necessarily dislike this but I'm not sure the blurb matches up with the content of the book. Yeah, exhibitionism and voyeurism exist but they aren't as subtle or I guess unknowing as I felt was implied. Protagonist Bradley knows Thom was watching from the start. He invites it at times, teases Thom about his voyeurism asking about him what he does while he watches. Yeah... Bradley is an exhibitionist. Honestly, that makes it even better it is known by both parties, it is a kind of flirtation. A flirtation that Thom isn't certain about but somewhere deep down he's loving it.
I'm going to be honest for a lot of this Bradley was giving me full-on incubus vibes. Not sure if it was deliberate or if Snyder just wanted to write a f***boy and that is where my brain went. I appreciate the way Thom's pain and reluctance were written. We are always in his head, we know exactly how badly he wants Bradley but his fear is getting in the way. Thom's desperate want and the instant possessiveness of every man who pleasures Bradley don't exactly hurt the incubus vibe. I like Bradley and Thom for the different ways they are protecting themselves. Their opposite natures work. The exhibitionist and the voyeur, though Thom would never refer to himself as such. Though it does go beyond the sexual kink, at 32 Thom is just that bit older he feels more mature and he doesn't do hookups (something Bradley really enjoys).
This is the kind of piece you love or hate. If you have KU it is on there and worth at least having a look at. It is a different kink set from what I've read from Snyder before. They do it well enough given spacial limitations, I feel like this is very much a little bit longer is better for this.

Look if you read it find me a better gif? Prince was nothing if not a perpetual flirt. In the modern time if he had not made music... OF sorry had to share my thoughts.
