I'm a new convert to these illustrated lullabies. I usually find I know the first line of every verse, but not enough to sing the actual song. Reading it in a story with illustrations is a great way to introduce the lullaby to my son, and it's much more memorable for me than just looking up the lyrics online.

This lullaby book is beautifully and whimsically illustrated, and even includes a little history of the song at the front of the book. It's shorter than the type of book my son prefers these days, but it's able to hold his attention.

A favorite lullabies of mine, this beautifully illustrated book is a wonderful bedtime story for sleepy babies. The cool blues of the watercolors encourage a baby to sooth themselves and settle down for the night.

Book is beautifully illustrated in pastel colors to accent the lyrics of a traditional lullaby which originated during slavery in the Southern U.S.

I appreciated the sheet music in the back of the book, so I could play the song on the piano.

I liked this book, it was cute and simple. It is a short book but interesting as well. The song itself is something fun to try out on the piano!
