A fine pictorial history of Golden Pond, a small town that was destroyed by the Tennessee Valley Authority when it created the Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area between the Cumberland and Tennessee Rivers. Essentially a collection of family photographs from several hundred families who were forced from their land in the 1960s, the book seeks to remember a place and time that no longer exists.
