In these pages, Joseph Reichler chronicles some of the most memorable moments of postwar major league baseball. Beginning with the remarkable hitting performance of Boston's Ted Williams in the 1946 All-Star game, Baseball's Great Moments offers more than 75 exciting stories from the game's most successful era.
This was a very interesting read from a historical perspective on baseball. Written over 30 years ago, I found the writer’s enthusiasm for the subject to be very entertaining and notable. However, this is not the best historical read on baseball either. The writing style is very difficult to read at times and descriptions on the various highlights leaving you wanting more information.
I rated thias book a 3 out of 5 because it was informative and was not necessarliy aimed at audiences like mebut besies that i thought it was a great book. if you like baseball history read this one.
