Good basic info for a new horse owner or for reference. Covers a lot of ground about types of horses, how to buy, how to feed, bathing, breeding, weening, diseases, and more.

These books are great for kids who want to raise horses. It shows them different things you can do with the horses and it also gives children some information on how much work horses actually are.
