William Hill

William Hill is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, and first learned to read through comic books and adventure and science fiction novels.

Since realizing that the corporate world stifled creative thought and discouraged personal imagination, Bill has been employed as an alchemist in South Lake Tahoe and an EMT/Ski Patroller at a North Lake Tahoe resort.

Although his first writing love is magic-oriented fantasy, Hill's first and second novels - Dawn of the Vampire and Vampire's Kiss - were supernatural thrillers published by Pinnacle. The Magic Bicycle and California Ghosting were published by Otter Creek Press.

Bill and his lovely wife, Kat, and their son, Brin, currently reside in the beautiful Carson Valley of Nevada. Bill intends to write imaginative fiction and fantasy until dirt is shoveled upon his coffin. (And friends have joked, beyond, to the supernatural author state.)

An exciting and delightful sequel to The Magic Bicycle, Danny Chase and his talking cat, Murg, ride a rainbow across the world and travel time on an imagination powered bicycle that is a gift from an alien. This is a wonderful read on its own, or as a companion to The Magic Bicycle and this book will enchant anyone from Young Adult through Adult reader, particularly anyone who is looking for entertaining escapism!

Chasing Time is an adventure story that continues the tale of Danny Chase as he goes back and forth in time using his magic bicycle, gifted to him by an alien friend that he helped. A talking cat adds to the fun. Danny is still dealing with the death of his Mom and sister and the choices his Dad makes as he tries to move on with his life. The author has some good original ideas which add to the fun.

If you liked The Magic Bicycle, you will like this book, too. More adventures, life lessons from some of the greatest thinkers of our past, and a resolution you will be satisfied with. Do read the first book before this one if you can, but you will still enjoy this one if you can't.

It does contain some violence and bullying, but is otherwise a clean read you can recommend to older teens, young adults and adults who still enjoy this type of book.

I received this along with the book I won in the goodreads giveaway: The Magic Bicycle. Thanks to William Hill for sending me the pair. I enjoyed reading them.

Danny, his magic bicycle, and talking cat Murg are back along with a new alien friend in this amped up sequel to The Magic Bicycle. After Spike, now in a gang, steals part of the magic bicycle, Danny has to chase him through time to get it back. Super fun to read aloud, exciting and imaginative, while dealing with some pretty serious subjects.

I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway!

This book was really amazing. It kept me interested and on the edge of my seat. Even being an adult, I enjoyed it and felt like I was reliving my 13 year old self. Hated all the quotes from Krindee that popped up all the dang time but oh well. Highly recommend it.
