In love with dashing Kip Montrose, young Kitty Cameron forces herself to accept his dangerous career as a pilot during World War I for fear of losing him.

She wrote for the secular and Christian market, and is best known for the Brides of Montclair series.
Kitty and Cara are back, a bit older and wiser. This is mostly Kitty's story, and a bittersweet one at that, to be continued in the next installment of the series. For being a Brides of Montclair series, most of them don't actually take place at Montclair, which is a bit of a disappointment, since the mansion is practically a character by itself.
Most disappointing book in the series so far. Didn’t like Kip in the last book, nor this one, and disappointed he’s a potential male lead in the next. Also her just constantly letting Richard kiss her made it so hard to like them as a couple. Why is everyone cheating in this story my goodness and trying to make it romantic blugh!
