A useful little guidebook to Tengrism and its endless plasticity and syncretism

Not much on indigenous religion. What there is, is confused with later accretions.
While on Buddhism in Mongolia, I think one needs to read this: Our Great Qing: The Mongols, Buddhism, and the State in Late Imperial China.
