Not what I was expecting
Just add mistletoe was a great read and I would've loved more books like this. Instead it was 3am kisses of skank fest. I was embarrassed that the author thanks God, but I don't think He would approve. I tried to get through this set but couldn't. I'll stick with the cozy mysteries.

This was hard to rate because I liked the writing style a lot but the stories didn't really impress me that much. They all involve a couple that had liked each other once but then things happened and nobody talked about anything important and nobody was willing to fight for their one true love. Now they supposedly can't stand each other but that's no reason not to end up kissing and having sex nevertheless.
Just Add Mistletoe features the bakery owner Missy and filthy rich Graham who's back in town. She considers herself a matchmaker and decides to pawn Graham off to Sabrina, the spoiled princess of the town. This does not quite work out as planned. I liked Graham but the Sabrina plotline was a little over the top.
Tender Kisses tells the story of Misty and filthy rich Nolan who get together trying to help their elderly friend Mattie May fulfil her wishes. Despite it being her bucket list and things that she wants to do, Mattie May manages to leave Nolan and Misty alone together doing them more than once.
In Winter Kisses Laney and Ryder are hot for each other but things ended badly earlier because his mother and another interested lady butted in their relationship. He wins her company at a charity auction and then they have quick affair and break up with his mother.
In Naughty by Nature Jax and Poppy's mothers are best friends who keep a popular prankster blog. Their children got humiliated in a lot of pranks over the years and now they think pranking the mothers would be a great idea. So Jax and Poppy decide to pretend that they're in love. But of course they are, and the rest of the book they spend not mentioning it.
In these books the plot hangs upon an ancient break up or a misunderstanding that nobody ever bothered to discuss, and I'm not super fond of that plot element. Talking is free, people!
The characters seem to blow alternatively hot and cold, hot and cold, with no rhyme or reason, and it got a bit old.
I was entertained enough to finish the box set, but the enjoyment was mostly for the little quips and funny phrasings, not for the romance.

DNF 41%
I can’t get back into this collection of books, I haven’t even picked it up in weeks. The first book started out okay but by the end it turned so sugary sweet I think I got a cavity! I decided to go on hoping the next book would be different enough and it was but unfortunately it was worse. I think I got about halfway and all that happened was the H constantly trying to act like nothing bad happened and the h constantly thought about how much she hated the H but oh he’s so sexy. I just couldn’t go on anymore, I don’t care if they get together because I don’t think they need to! But we never got enough info about what happened “that summer” and it just drug out way too long to care anymore.

Good Read.
Addison Moore is a new author to me. I really enjoyed the first few books in this box set but found the last one a bit too drama filled for my liking. The writing was consistent and the characters were well developed. The characters were relatable and enjoyable to read for the most part. The last book was a bit harder to get into but in the end was a good read also. Overall I would recommend to anyone who loves Christmas novels or box sets.

Two of the three stories were charming and good. The other two were more focused on explicit sex details. If it’s a good story line, sexual details to this extreme aren’t necessary. I stopped reading the 3 am kisses in the second chapter. Not impressed at all and have no desire to follow this author.

This box set was goo. All of the books had a good storyline & well written . It took me a little to get in the last one,but once I did it was really good.They kept my interest & was hard to put down.If they had been single books I wouldn't have.

Great books. There's not a book by Addison Moore that I've read so far, that I didn't love. I got so caught up in these books, I forgot I was reading!
