Pet shop owner Tang Wan was accidentally reborn into an interstellar world. When he opened his eyes, he found himself automatically married to a vegetable via the StarNetwork. A social status worth ten billion yuan; but with an unconscious husband, he was unable to withdraw any money. Tang Wan held the empty position of the First Gentleman, but was, in fact, a poor man.
In order to secure his future livelihood, Tang Wan was bound to the “Earth Pet System” and returned to his old business, with the goal of saving money, getting a divorce, and looking for a second spring!
After thousands of years of evolution, Earth’s energy depletion had long been abandoned to the distant corners of the Milky Way. All of the animals in the galaxy had evolved tremendously, and little furry cute ones only lived in textbooks. When Tang Wan and his cute little ones appeared, they became the treasures of the whole universe! The pet shop soon became famous in the interstellar world, and the whole universe lined up to be cat slaves~
Finally surviving past the compulsory marriage period, Tang Wan happily took off the diamond ring worth billions: he can finally sell it for money!
However, Tang Wan could never have imagined that when he sat down at the dining table on a blind date with some fresh meat, the vegetative partner that he had come to an agreement with would suddenly open his eyes.
Gong: I heard you sold your wedding ring for one billion yuan?
Tang Wan reached out and pushed him down on the bed: Open what eyes, quickly close them.
pros: light hearted, short read with little drama for inbetween, mc and love interests relationship is cute enough, translation is pretty good
cons: age gap (at least physically 20 and 29/30), ml was jealous n possessive to a sometimes uncomfortable extent, side characters (animals) are really forgettable imo, couldve been a bit more about their kids, bulletscreen comments by fans r always inbetween the normal text and due to it not being highlighted as the comments it can be confusing to see them at times, the beginning was very confusing i’m ngl it took a while to get into it
Tbh, overall it’s fluffy and it’s cute but there are several things that I really can’t enjoy.
first, for the author to write so much for the streaming, they don’t even bother to explain a bit about the MC’s system. Like how did he suddenly have it? How it operates? Etc etc
Too many streamings time for me to enjoy the story. It’s like 50% of them are basically the audiences keep wanting to rub the pets instead of an actual story
granted the ML might have issue because of his childhood, but I dislike his behaviour, his jealousy and how he forces ML not to divorce him, but oh well at least he’s genuine and patient not to force himself
I don’t really get the ML became da zhuang during the vegative state part. Seems like it’s not explored enough or Idk maybe I’m just plain stupid
and the one I hate the most is the fact that MC keeps wanting a child only cause he wants a furry little one? Like, I know this is fiction, but it just irks me and I can’t. Especially when he keeps saying if the child is not a beastman and a human like him, he won’t like it. Then they have a daughter and he doesn’t want since she’s a tigress. LIKE DID U GUYS THINK A CHILD IS A TOY OR WHAT? OMG
the only reason why I gave this 3 star is probably because the premise is cute and i love the idea of mc able to ‘control’ domineering ml.

I loved the characters that the author developed in this story. My only regret is reading as it was translated and thus losing track of some of the names.
When the big mystery gets resolved, I definitely had a hard time figuring out what happened until I chewed on it for a couple pages.
My major gripe though is the exuberant, web-novel writing style (lots of exclamations, lots of talking with the online audience), and the lack of resolution for all the side characters. What happens to the crown prince? To the younger brother? I'd love to know.
Instead, we get pages and pages of descriptions on various "cute" animals. It feels so random, and doesn't work really well in a book. Having lots of cute animals to distract from the simple plot would work better in a manga where we could at least see them.
Overall, a fun, entertaining book that I probably won't be tempted to re-read, but I'm happy to have read.

Light and fluffy. Started out well, but then had a lot of trouble finding any sort of conflict or tension once the MC's family drama was sorted. But still kept going for... too long. This meant it petered out and then ended abruptly, rather than feeling like a proper and satisfying ending.
(Also has a lot of internalised misogyny that only appears from 50% onwards.)
FLUFF ATTACKED!!! There are usual plots with MC having a bad past life, wife doting, and heartfelt family feeling. I love MC’s character and the way he deals with people. And also ML, he tries his best to give whatever MC ever wanted. “You can be more unreasonable, I can take/deal with you” I WANT TO SCREAMMMM!!! 4.7/8 ⭐️ JUST CUTEEEE AND FLUFFFF!!!
Ceritanya cute, sweet & fluffy. Walaupun dengan tema yg hampir sama dengan beberapa cerita yg lain tapi masih menarik untuk dibaca. Diawal agak bingung, ada banyak plothole, tapi makin kebelakang ceritanya makin menarik
It’s light entertainment. No major events of note just a transmigrator MC and former pet shop owner obsessed with his love of furry extinct small animals from the abandoned Earth. It filled the gap between novels since it’s only 55 chapters.
If you don't really care what you're reading and you want something that's specifically about selling meng and avoiding explanation, this is the story for you.
